Counseling Associates has been in operation since the early 1970s and has more than 30 professional staff. We have clinical social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists, many of whom are known and published in their areas of expertise. Most of our clinicians have attained the highest degrees in their field (Doctorate and/or Master’s), and almost all have at least five years of post-graduate experience.
Sidney H. Grossberg, Ph.D.
The Executive Director of Counseling Associates, Sidney H. Grossberg, Ph.D., is formerly Professor of Social Work at Wayne State University and was on the continuing education faculty at Smith College. He has been elected Distinguished Practitioner of the National Academy of Practice. He offers consultation services on forming and expanding group practices, on surviving under managed care and on outcomes studies. Counseling Associates was quoted in the E.A.P. Marketplace Directory as having a highly acclaimed clinical staff. Also, Counseling Associates is listed in the book “100 Best Treatment Centers in The United States for Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment.”
